Problems listening live?

Have you struggled to connect to the stream to listen to Polka Parade live during mid October, 2021? We hear it became rather frustrating for some of our online listeners! You click the LISTEN LIVE NOW button, and wait, and wait, and wait…, but nothing seemed to happen. First of all, let us apologize for the frustration. It would appear that a radio station engineer did some jiggering around (that’s a technical term) with the WJOI live stream – and that jiggering broke our LISTEN LIVE NOW button. Thanks to multiple listeners alerting us, the button has been fixed and is again working.

If you previously bookmarked or saved the page and player that the button takes you to, it is no longer valid. You will have to return to our LISTEN NOW page and click the button again to get to the current live stream and player.  This should solve the problem and have you listening to WJOI again. By the way, you don’t have to wait for Polka Parade to be on the air, you can listen to or test the live stream anytime you’d like.

If you missed any of the shows as they aired live, you can still replay any of them from the past two months. Then come on back next Saturday to listen as Polka Parade airs live from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (CST).
